Who are the Republican Women of Rutherford County? 

• We are a group of energetic women who are concerned about upholding conservative values in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, the State of Tennessee and the United States of America. 

What are our Chapter Goals?

• • Increase Women’s Effectiveness in the Cause of Good Government
    • RWRC encourages women to become informed citizens in the local, state and national government.  Opportunities abound in the organization for women to be educated, empowered and engaged in politics.
  • Promote an Informed Public through Political Education Activity
    • The RWRC works to share information with the state and national levels of the organization.  We work to share information with the public about local, state and national candidates by providing speakers at our monthly meetings.  We provide pamphlets, brochures, informative monthly newsletters, and other written materials to help individuals better understand our government.  Our organization of like-minded women enjoys opportunities to socialize, discuss political issues, and work to teach others about the Republican platform.  We know working together we can make a stronger Nation.
  • Loyalty to the Republican Party
    • The RWRC promotes the principles of the Republican Party at all levels.  Our goal is top work for Republican candidates during election time; to support the objectives and policies of the Republican Party. We strongly believe in Republican values and wish to share these with our fellow Republican and the community at large. 

When do we meet? 

• We meet the third Tuesday of every month, unless otherwise notified. 

What are the benefits of Membership? 

• Regular Members  – $35 – Due annually on Jan 1
  • Automatically enrolled as a member of the NFRW – National Federation of Republican Women, TFRW – Tennessee Federation of Republican Women and our Club, RWRC
  • Access to the National website and Members only information 
  • Access to NFRW’s electronic communications, weekly and monthly newsletters and political briefings, free or nominal-priced publications like the Leader’s Guide, Membership Handbook, Legislative Advocacy Manual and other outreach/recruitment materials
  • Access to sample materials and resources, Campaign Management Schools, programs, workshops and the opportunity to meet national Republican leaders, discuss key issues and develop leadership and professional skills
  • Networking opportunities and the ability to meet and develop relationships with women from across the country through online discussion forums and national events such as the biennial convention and annual information programs and discussions 
  • Representation in Washington DC including the services of professional staff and maintenance of NFRW headquarters which is located in Alexandria, Virginia, a few miles from Capitol Hill

• Associate Members – $35 – Due annually on Jan 1
  • Associate members belong only to the local Club and include Men, Members of other Federated Women’s Clubs, etc.
  • Associate Members can participate in any and all RWRC meetings, events, committees and programs 
  • Networking opportunities and opportunity to promote the Chapter Goals
